Overview

Inferred is an offline-first Swift learning application created by Northbyte. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it on iPhone or iPad.

Information we do not collect

Inferred does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. The app does not use accounts, advertising, third-party analytics, tracking technologies, tracking identifiers, location services, or remote user profiling.

Information stored on your device

To provide the learning experience, Inferred stores the following information locally on your device:

  • selected language, appearance, Swift level, learning goal, and daily question goal;
  • notification preference and onboarding completion state;
  • active quiz sessions, completed quiz results, and topic progress;
  • incorrect answers and questions you add to Favorites.

This information is used only to personalize the app and calculate your progress. It is not sent to us or to third parties.

Learning content and network access

Questions, explanations, and topic information are bundled with the app. Inferred does not require a network connection for its core learning features.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Inferred asks iOS for notification permission and schedules a local daily reminder on your device. No notification token is uploaded to a server. You can disable reminders at any time in Inferred or in iOS Settings.

Third-party software

Inferred includes Stevia for interface layout and Lottie for visual animation support. In the current release, these libraries operate inside the app and are not used to collect or transmit personal information.

Your choices and deletion

You can remove quiz history, progress, mistakes, and favorite questions using Settings → Clear Learning Data. Deleting the application removes data stored in its local container. Notification permission can be managed in iOS Settings.

Children’s privacy

Inferred does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users because the app does not collect personal information.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this page and the App Store privacy information will be updated. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
